Business model
Delivering high value to users and customers
Catena Media is an affiliate marketing specialist. We attract and deliver players to operators of online casino gaming and sports betting platforms. Our content, distributed via a portfolio of branded websites, engages current and future users with offers and participation opportunities that generate qualified leads for our partners.
We attract individuals to visit our brands primarily by leveraging the visibility we gain from these products’ high rankings on popular search engines. We then engage visitors in multiple ways that build and deepen their interest, for instance by providing relevant content that addresses their needs and by presenting special offers from our operator partners, hosting competitions and events, and similar initiatives.

Delivering HIGH-Quality Leads
to Operators
Content is king
To attract visitors, our teams work constantly to develop unique eye-catching content that adds true value to the user. The objective is to continue to engage returning visitors while also attracting new users. Our mission is to guide them with insightful content so they can make smart and informed decisions before moving on to one of our partners. Content creation is based on a deep understanding of what the player is looking for. What constitutes relevant content ranges widely – from comparing online casino products and services to offering sports fans informed background and commentary on team line-ups.
Diversifying our business
Catena Media is actively broadening its business beyond traditional affiliate revenue. By expanding into new verticals and developing new product-led solutions, we are reducing reliance on any single channel and building a more resilient, scalable company for the long term.

Our revenue models
Cost-per-acquisition
Our most important revenue source is cost-per-acquisition (CPA), which involves a platform operator paying us a fixed sum when a user performs a specific, pre-agreed action. Actions may include accepting an introductory offer, placing a bet or making a financial transaction. The CPA model is common when entering new markets, such as newly regulated states in North America.
Revenue sharing
Revenue sharing is our second most important revenue source. When one of our leads converts into a user, the operator pays us an agreed portion of the net revenue the user generates. Historically, this model has been more common in European markets, but its importance is steadily growing in other markets, such as North America.
Fixed fees, hybrid and subscription revenue deals
In certain partnerships, we may operate under other arrangements which either constitute a hybrid agreement, a fixed fee or a subscription revenue deal. A hybrid arrangement contains a mix of revenue sharing and cost-per-acquisition. Fixed fees deals and subscription revenue deals are usually event-driven, one-time arrangements under which we act as an outside marketing agency for the operator.
